The tribes of the Omo valley are interesting enough to feed an anthropologist's quest for knowledge of the human race. I felt amazed by their preferences, philosophies, prejudices, beliefs and rituals that mirror their day to day style of living. The cult of paganism and scarification of the body, their love for sport, dietary habits, love, hate and all the bugged out acts of life are special for reasons that they understand the most. Well, I have been reading how they make it a point to head to the head priests or shamans for convincing explanations whenever deviations are encountered in an otherwise strenuous but peaceful life; however, listening from local populace about the same is enlightening and life changing for sure.
